Linde set for first 4 Day start against NW Dragons

The Cricket South Africa (CSA) domestic 4-Day Series will go down to the wire this weekend in the final round of the competition.

Three teams in each division have a mathematical chance of winning the title as the 4-Day Series concludes this weekend.

Log leaders, Imperial Lions (111.30 points) will travel to Pretoria to take on the Momentum Multiply Titans who are third on the log with 105.00 points at SuperSport Park.

Second on the log are the Gbets Warriors (110.82 points), who travel to Bloemfontein to take on the ITEC Knights, currently number six on the standings. The Warriors will be looking for a bonus point victory and for the Gauteng-based sides to share points at best to claim the title.

In all permutations, the fate for all three teams relies on the results of both games going their way. Should the Warriors not win, winner takes all in Pretoria but victory for the Gqeberha-based side and a winner between Lions and Titans, the team between them with the most bonus points will finish on top.

Hollywoodbets Dolphins will face the Gbets Rocks in Paarl while Six Gun Grill Western Province hosts the North West Dragons at Six Gun Grill Newlands as all-rounder George Linde gets set to play his first 4 Day Series match of the season as the men from the Cape look to finish their red-ball season on a high with a win at home against North West Dragons who sit below them on the log.

Meanwhile in Division 2, the top three teams, Six Gun Grill SWD (97.58), Northern Cape Heat (95.68), and Hollywoodbets Tuskers (80.66), will all aim for victory to secure the number one spot on the log as all three venues, (Oudtshoorn, Pietermaritzburg, and Kimberly) could crown winners on Sunday.
