World Sports Betting Newlands to Host Blockbuster 2026/27 International Summer

NEWLANDS – The Western Province Cricket Association (WPCA) is proud to announce that World Sports Betting (WSB) Newlands Cricket Ground will once again take centre stage in the South African summer, hosting a series of marquee international fixtures during the 2026/27 home season.

This follows the official announcement by Cricket South Africa (CSA) confirming the South Africa national cricket team international schedule, which features high-profile tours by Australia, Bangladesh and England.

The summer begins with a multi-format tour by Australia, starting with a three-match One-Day International (ODI) series from 24-30 September. Newlands will host the 3rd Test between South Africa and Australia from Tuesday, 27 to Saturday, 31 October, promising five days of world-class red-ball cricket at one of the game’s most iconic venues.

In December, fans in the Mother City will have the opportunity to witness the Proteas in white-ball action against Bangladesh. The 3rd ODI of the three-match series will take place at Newlands on Monday, 7 December, adding festive flair to the summer schedule.

The season concludes in grand fashion with a highly anticipated tour by England. WSB Newlands will host the 3rd Test between South Africa and England from Sunday, 3 to Thursday, 7 January, setting the stage for an exciting start to the new year.
