Six Gun Grill Western Province Captain Wayne Parnell reflects on the dramatic 6-wicket win over the Northern Cape Heat which saw us qualify for the quarter-finals, finishing second in the group to Six Gun Grill SWD.

We needed to chase down Northern Cape Heat’s total of 164 within 19.1 overs to go ahead of the Imperial Lions on run rate as all three teams would finish on 8 points and Zubayr Hamza (62), Jono Bird (42), Tony de Zorzi (30) and a quick-fire 25 off just 11 balls, including the match-winning six by Kyle Verreynne, saw the team home in 18.2 overs.
