WSB Western Province are ready to make it two from two against the Hollywoodbets Dolphins

October 2025

NEWLANDS – Confidence is high after last week’s victory for World Sports Betting Western Province Men as they set to welcome the Hollywoodbets Dolphins to WSB Newlands for round three of the 4-Day Series on Tuesday.

The Boys in Blue, who overcame the Eastvaal Renault North West Dragons by eight wickets last week, will be looking to carry that momentum into their clash against the Hollywoodbets Dolphins.

The match gets underway at 10h00 and will be livestreamed on Cricket South Africa’s YouTube channel.

Captain Beuran Hendricks says the team’s confidence is high, and they’re determined to carry last week’s momentum into the clash against the Dolphins.

“I would say Dragons game was a good performance overall,” said Hendricks. “We take that momentum into the next one, which is Dolphins.”

“I think both teams lose a couple of guys to the SA ‘A’ squad and that gives new players some opportunity to go out there and prove themselves.

Hendricks, who bagged five wickets in the first innings and two in the second of last week’s match, says they’re expecting a good game of cricket.

“We are expecting a good game of cricket again against Dolphins,” he said.

“Luckily, we retained being at home – so it should be a good four days out for Newlands on Tuesday.”
