WSB WP Cricket Renews Partnership with Southern Sun as Official Hotel Partner

NEWLANDS – The Western Province Cricket Association (WPCA) is pleased to announce the renewal of its partnership with Southern Sun as its Official Hotel Partner for a further three years.

The renewed agreement reinforces a long-standing relationship between the two organisations – a partnership built on shared values of excellence, professionalism and hospitality.

With a strong track record of partnerships in rugby, football and other major sporting properties, Southern Sun sees this agreement and renewal as a key opportunity to strengthen its presence in cricket.

The partnership brings together two like-minded organisations focused on high standards and shared values. The WPCA is confident this collaboration will deliver meaningful impact and grow into a successful long-term relationship.

As part of the partnership, Southern Sun will continue to provide accommodation for the World Sports Betting Western Province Men’s and Women’s teams when travelling for away games. The agreement plays a key role in supporting WPCA’s operational and high-performance requirements. Furthermore, the partnership will allow the WPCA to connect Southern Sun with its loyal supporter base and visiting overseas fans offering them access to special rates and promotions at Southern Sun properties over the coming seasons.

This partnership also underscores Southern Sun’s continued commitment to supporting South Africa’s sporting landscape at all levels. It will also provide WPCA’s executives, and youth teams with access to Southern Sun’s extensive network of hotels across South Africa, ensuring the comfort and convenience needed for optimal performance during the season.
